When you opt in to our text messaging program, we collect your name, mobile phone number, and your consent record (including the date, time, and method of opt-in). We use this information solely to deliver the text messages you signed up for regarding quote updates, policy reminders and account information.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties for any purpose.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are used only by Mark Butler Farmers Insurance and the service providers acting on our behalf to operate the messaging program (such as our messaging platform provider), and only for the purpose of sending you the messages you requested.

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

- As required by law, regulation, or legal process;
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Mark Butler Farmers Insurance, our clients, or others.
As stated above, mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law, so no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" or "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link is required. California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code §1798.83) permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
